What is a blog?
Merriam-Webster defines blog as, "a personal Web site that provides updated headlines and news articles of other sites that are of interest to the user, also may include journal entries, commentaries and recommendations compiled by the user."
Think of a blog as a public diary. Each individual entry may contain a comments area with other people's thoughts, although this is something the blog's author has to allow.
